Rich, as much as we would like to help you, not all remote starters are installed the same way. Different car starter brands and different setups will call for different wiring. Our advice is to take your car to a qualified remote starter installer and ask them to troubleshoot your problem because it does take some wiring experience and installation knowledge to know what to do. i have a 2003 dodge ram 1500 quad cab with the hemi engine,when i bought this vehicle new i had the dealer install the remote start system.it always worked until last week i got in the truck after using the remote start. i smelled like there was something electrical burning. it seemed as though it was from the heater blower and figured that the blower motor was going out. but since then the remote start doesnt work,when i push the remote key fob, the lights blink on the truck, signaling it is engaged but nothing happens as far as starting the vehicle. any ideas where to look or what to look for and where?
